Question: What does IP20 and IP21 mean?

Answer: The IP-label is an international norm for a product’s protection against humidity and dust.
A thermostat with IP21-labelling can only be used in a bathroom outside wet zones. Thermostats, labelled with IP20, should only be used in dry rooms.
